I've been blogging for so long but I haven't got a single, true follower . All my followers are people I know and I have forced them to follow me . I had thought that they might be able to bring to me more and more followers but I scarcely need to say that they have disappointed me terribly . They all and everyone else I have ever approached to ask to read my blog say that blogging is 'बुड्ढोँ का काम' ।
This degree of disappointment increases when I see even some totally non-creative people have been getting popularity through fake and pirated works . And the followers of their blogs are constantly increasing . This frustation sometimes almost gets better of me .
Anyways , I'm currently too pessimistic to write anything cheerful .

राम-नवमी


"खत्म हुआ इन्तज़ार
आ गया राम-नवमी का त्यौहार .
आठ दिन पहले था नवसंवत्सर ,
महा-उत्सव का अब आया अवसर ."


सभी पाठकों को राम-नवमी की हार्दिक बधाई . जैसा कि आप सभी जानते हैं कि कल चैत्र-नवरात्रि का अंतिम दिन था , और आज भगवान विष्णु के नौवें अवतार श्री राम का जन्मदिवस है .आज नवरात्र के व्रती कन्याओं को भोजन करा कर व्रत का उद्यापन करेंगे और अपने व्रत की समाप्ति के पश्चात देवी दुर्गा से आशीर्वाद की कामना करते हैं .

पर आज हम में से कुछ ही लोग राम-नवमी को उसी हर्षोल्लास से मनाते हैं जैसे कि नवरात्रि को मनाया जाता है . पता नहीं यह शर्म है , डर है या कुछ और . यह भी एक मज़ेदार संयोग है कि हमारी दोनों ही नवरात्रियों का अंत भगवान श्रीराम से जुड़ा है . चैत्र नव्ररात्रि का अंत श्रीराम के जन्मदिवस से होता है और शारदीय नवरात्रि के अंत में दशहरा आता है जो कि लंका के राक्षस राजा रावण पर राम की विजय का उत्सव है .

समाज में जिस प्रकार पाप का विस्तार और सत्य का संकुचन हो रहा है तो आज के समय में राम और रामायण पहले से भी ज़्यादा प्रासंगिक हो गए हैं . आज जिस प्रकार भ्रष्टाचार , हिंसा , लोभ और स्वार्थ रूपी अनगिनत रावण अपने साम्राज्य का विस्तार कर रहे हैं , उसे रोकने के लिए एक नहीं असंख्य रामोम की आवश्यकता है . और यह राम किसी प्रधानमंत्री या राष्ट्रपति के घरों से नहीं , हमारे-आपके बीच से ही आएंगे , क्योंकि लोकतंत्र में आम जनता ही असली शासक होती है और भगवान सदा राजा के ही घर उत्पन्न हुए हैं और मुझे नहीं लगता कि भगवान अपनी इस पुरातन आदत को बदलना चाहेंगे . आज हम मेम से हर किसी में एक राम और एक रावण छुपा बैठा है और यह हम पर है कि हम किस को उभार कर उसकी तरह बनना चाहते हैं .

तो आइए , इस रामनवमी को हम सभी यह प्रण लें कि हम भी एक राम बन भारत से व संपूर्ण विश्व से रावणों का सर्वनाश कर एक रामराज्य के निर्माण में अपना योगदान देंगे .

एक पुराना महल

आखिर वह बना ही था

ताश के पत्तों से .

चाहे उस पर जितनी

सिलेटी पॊलिश हो जाती

वह सीमेंट का न बन पाता .





नही सह सकता वह

उस हवा को

जो अवश्यम्भावी थी

शक्तिशाली थी और

टूट जाना ही था

हर उस महल को

ताश के

जो ऊंचे ठूंठ की भांति

समझ रहा था खुद को

और तैयार न था

झुकने को .





तोड देती हैं हवाएं

समय की

इसी प्रकार रूढियो को

तूफ़ान बदलाव का

ढहा देता है

नकली सीमेंटी महलों को

जो खुद को कठोर ठूंठ समझ

उसी की गति को

प्राप्त होते हैं.

आज की मेरी blogging में मैं कुछ शेर अर्ज़ करना चाहूँगा-

१.    मौत भी मंज़ूर उस बेवफा के हाथों ,
       'गर मिले पूरी ईमानदारी से .
       बेवफाई की  तो हमें
       जिन्दगी भी मंज़ूर नहीं.


 २.   बेकार है हर बख्शीश खुदा की,
      'गर वह दिल में नरमी देना भूल गया.
       गलती और एक खुदा ने की,
       जो चेहरा खूबसूरत संगदिल को दे गया.


३.   भले   ही खुदा को न मान,
      पर उस के हुक्म को तू ज़रूर मान.
      'गर खुदा न हुआ तो भी तू इज्ज़त से जायेगा,
      और 'गर हुआ  खुदा
      तो वो तुझे जन्नत ले जायेगा.

This truly amazes me how less people mark other peoples' lives.I had to go to Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital to visit an aunt of mine.But what disturbed me the most was the fact that inspite of her truly critical condition,all had to pull the strings of सोर्स-सिफारिश in order to get her admitted. I thought of those people who or whose relatives're suffering from similar diseases but didn't have anyone for source;and i instantly started shivering. I don't know what'd have happened to my aunt if she'd not have had these strings.At least there shouldn't be any discrimination or corruption when anyone's life's at stake,whether it's a poor man or the next Bill Gates.
It's a fact worth noticing that we have most no. of heart patients ; inspite of our 'cheap, yet reliable' heartcare facilities which attract most no. of medical tourists.WHY????????????
Perhaps it's the same reason.

roady thoughts

I just posted my first comment on Big B's blog.
It amazes me how effortlessly people can people risk other’s lives.
Today I accidently broke my specs. It created a big problem for me as another pair of specs was already broken. I instantly phoned my cousin to rush to the optician nearby and request him to keep the shop open for another few more minutes. Then I & my father rushed as soon as possible to the shop so that at least one of the pairs may get repaired. But in our way stood a large caravan of trucks, at just 8:15p.m!!!!
Papa told that the police at the check posts let the trucks enter the city during the times when they’re prohibited to do so, just for 10 or 20 rupees. Are the lives of common people that cheap?
By God’s grace, we reached just in time to get one of my specs repaired. But still, I feel that the best punishment for the corrupt police-people would be to demote them or remove them from service, along with suspension of right to join any public enterprise or government job for the next 10 years.
I’m writing a book on Indian Vedic stories and I request my readers to suggest me a good publication for it.
